About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Statesboro, GA. This role involves performing various types of inspections to ensure quality requirements are met. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.00/hour, with a Monday-Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have dependable transportation.
Must submit to and pass any required testing.
Have within the normal range of hearing and eyesight.
Be able to work in harmony with others.
Must be able to read and comprehend policies and procedures / rules and regulations written or spoken in English.
Must adhere to all safety requirements of Sizemore and any applicable job assignment.
Must possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, inspection, or Quality Control experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of measuring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections according to applicable quality requirements.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using approved measuring equipment.
Record inspection results and maintain required documentation.
Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming or suspect materials.
Support sorting, containment, reinspection, and product verification.
Assist Quality Control Technicians with testing, measurement, and documentation.
Maintain inspection tools and work areas.
Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.
Other tasks may be assigned as required.
