About The Position

This role involves performing inspections for products manufactured by dental technicians and conducting quality control inspections according to established quality standard procedures. The individual will evaluate each case thoroughly to ensure the correct product is manufactured per Rx specifications. This position also serves as a liaison between dental technicians and managers, requiring prompt and articulate communication with colleagues, technicians, and managers on a continuous basis. The role relies on extensive technical knowledge to make decisions and achieve departmental goals. Communication with supervisors, QC personnel, and technicians regarding work quality, standards, turnaround time, deadlines, and workflow is essential. The position involves providing constructive feedback to dental technicians on their work quality, ensuring high productivity and quality through problem-solving, motivation, and assistance. Compliance with safety procedures and understanding of all file trees are also required. The role includes sending and receiving files to and from specified labs, training technicians, and performing other related duties as business needs require.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive technical knowledge to make decisions and accomplish departmental goals.
