About The Position

At Parkside Utility Construction, LLC, the Quality Control Field Technician ensures construction or installation work meets specified standards by conducting inspections and tests and monitoring compliance throughout projects. The technician addresses issues, documents findings, and collaborates with teams to implement improvements and maintain high-quality outcomes. The role includes working in all weather conditions and may require overtime, travel, on-call work, or after-hours responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
Have a valid state driver's license (not provisional) and an acceptable driving record.
Have one year of relevant work experience.
Have knowledge and understanding of standard practices in the telecommunications construction industry.
Have knowledge of customer installation standards and documentation.

Nice To Haves

Quality control experience is preferred.
An associate degree in an industry-related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
Perform final inspections requested by customers to verify compliance with construction standards.
Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution.
Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved.
Ensure required testing is completed and document the results.
Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management.
Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed; perform duties in all weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
