About The Position

Infineon is seeking a Graduate Quality Control Engineer to join their team. This role involves defining quality and regulatory requirements, executing product qualification strategies, and ensuring compliance with military and industry standards. The engineer will serve as a liaison for product quality and regulatory matters, review customer requirements, and partner with Product Engineering on documentation. Responsibilities also include evaluating failure mechanisms, overseeing testing, leading change management processes, approving product disposition decisions, managing customer communications, coordinating with subcontractors, and collaborating on standards development. The role also involves continuous improvement of processes and methodologies, and assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with quality management systems and compliance programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects while meeting timelines and business objectives
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop creative solutions to technical and business challenges
Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment across cross‑functional teams
Proficiency with productivity software, communication tools, and other business or technical applications relevant to the role

Responsibilities

Define quality and regulatory requirements and execute product qualification strategies for semiconductor technologies, packaging, and product releases
Maintain compliance with military and industry standards, including performance specifications, qualification requirements, and factory certifications
Serve as a liaison to government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding product quality, qualifications, and regulatory requirements
Review customer requirements and translate them into actionable quality and compliance plans
Partner with Product Engineering to develop and maintain product datasheets and technical documentation
Evaluate failure mechanisms and oversee environmental, mechanical, and stress-testing methodologies to ensure product reliability
Lead Technology Review Board (TRB) activities and Class 1 Change Management processes
Approve product disposition decisions related to development releases, deviations, qualifications, quality investigations, and special clearances
Manage Product Change Notifications (PCNs), GIDEP notices, and other customer-facing quality communications
Coordinate and align quality-related activities with subcontractors and external partners
Collaborate with government agencies and industry organizations to define and improve military performance standards and test methods
Monitor changes to industry standards and ensure ongoing compliance across products, processes, and test methodologies
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing quality management systems and regulatory compliance programs
