About The Position

Trident Consulting is seeking a Quality Control / Quality Engineer for one of our clients in Houston, TX. This is an onsite contract position for 1 year with possible extension, paying $40/hr.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• OR High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide QC setup and support during the tendering and execution phases of EPC projects.
• Oversee fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and communicate flaws in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes, and recommend improvements.
• Support data gathering and analysis and communicate findings with direct colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Contribute effectively as a project team member and support project goals typically completed within 1–3 months.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of execution processes.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify quality issues and recommend practical solutions.
