About The Position

Surveying, testing, and inspecting electrical installations to ensure conformance with standards. This role involves checking for irregularities and defects, adhering to HUD and Texas State requirements and guidelines, and completing testing reports and documentation.

Requirements

• High School degree or G.E.D.
• One year related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Work will be done in seasonal weather, warm and/or cold temperatures.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Responsibilities

• Utilize check sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
• Follow-up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
• Coordinates with electrical personnel to effectively resolve problems related to electrical defects.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
