About The Position
The Analyst I, Quality Control (Non-Clinical) performs analytical testing to support the release of non-clinical-grade rAAV vector lots manufactured by internal departments, including Pre-Clinical Manufacturing, Process Development, and MSAT, as well as external partners. The vectors tested and characterized support capsid technology development, the intellectual property portfolio, and internal progression of early-stage gene therapy programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant work experience (0–2 years) in analytical testing, development, and technology transfer, particularly involving rAAV/gene therapy, recombinant proteins/biomolecules, and/or other advanced therapeutic modalities.
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex molecular biology and biochemistry analytical methods, including qPCR, d/ddPCR, ELISA, HPLC, and endotoxin testing.
- Organize and perform data analysis after each test method and peer review data.
- Assist with evaluation of analytical results and preparation of final reports.
- Follow SOPs and document analytical test method procedures.
- Assist with revisions to work instructions, SOPs, forms, reports, and electronic laboratory notebook analytical records.
- Contribute to technical discussions and investigations.
- Assist with management of raw materials, analytical test method supplies, and samples as needed.
- Keep laboratory areas clean and organized, and ensure equipment, supplies, and raw materials are available for use.
