About The Position
Moog is seeking a versatile quality professional to support and coordinate key business systems. This role involves internal auditing, Material Review Board (MRB) facilitation, Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) coordination, and quality administration to enhance compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The position is based in Buffalo, NY, and requires an onsite presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline and 3 years in quality systems, internal audit, or manufacturing administration OR Associate’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline and 7 years in quality systems, internal audit, or manufacturing administration
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards, ERP/MES systems, and MS Office
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Excellent communicator and skilled team facilitator
- Strong follow‑through with ability to drive items to completion
- Works effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to quality excellence
Nice To Haves
- Auditor certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, AS9100)
- Experience in KPI reporting
- Experience with lean/CI methods
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and track corrective actions to closure
- Facilitate MRB and CARB meetings, manage changes, and maintain accurate records
- Monitor nonconformance reports, follow up on NCs, and assist in KPI tracking/reporting
- Maintain quality databases and documentation for audit readiness
