About The Position

Your Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, is seeking Quality Auditors at its Jonesboro, Arkansas facility. The Quality Auditor helps ensure the quality and safety of plastic food-packaging products through regular audits, testing, and data analysis, supporting compliance with food safety standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. The role includes work across departments and production lines, data entry, laboratory testing, sanitation audits, warehouse or RMA audits, and communicating findings so corrective actions can be taken. The position operates in a loud, high-volume industrial environment and involves physical tasks throughout shifts of up to 12 hours. Pay is $18.00–$21.50, based on experience. Available shifts are nights, 6:55 p.m.–7:00 a.m., and days, 6:55 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least six months of quality experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours a day.
Ability to work in a loud, noisy, industrial, high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a laboratory or auditor environment.
SPC training.
Associate or technical degree in an applicable field.
Experience performing precision measurements using micrometers, tape measure, and dial calipers.

Responsibilities

Perform routine audits across departments to verify product quality, focusing on plastic food-packaging standards and food safety guidelines.
Coordinate with on-shift coworkers to cover production lines, prioritize critical audits, and provide continuous quality oversight.
Accurately enter data into databases and systems, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
Conduct or assist with laboratory testing and measurement studies as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.
Perform sanitation tasks and audits and document compliance with food safety requirements.
Help guide new auditors on auditing procedures, standards, and best practices.
Complete assigned warehouse or RMA audits, ensuring returned products are handled and documented properly.
Analyze critical data and promptly communicate findings to operations staff to facilitate corrective actions.
Perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling.
