About The Position

The Quality Auditor is responsible for maintaining quality records, communicating with quality personnel and other departments regarding product and processing issues, and performing inspections of molded rubber products. This role involves collecting parts, visually inspecting products according to AQL sampling plans, and initiating corrective actions for non-conforming products. The auditor will also perform duties related to finishing and sorting rejected products, operate measuring equipment, and prepare and label product packaging according to work instructions. The position will be awarded to the most qualified bidder based on factors such as performance, attendance, and supervisor recommendations.

  • Ability to visually inspect molded rubber product to AQL sampling plan.
  • Ability to inspect first part inspection and 100% audit.
  • Ability to initiate corrective action for non-conforming product.
  • Ability to perform finishing or sorting of rejected non-conforming product.
  • Ability to operate count scales.
  • Ability to operate Micro-Vu measuring equipment.
  • Ability to follow work instructions for packaging and specifications.
  • Ability to verify and affix appropriate box labels.
  • Good performance record.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Positive supervisor recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Record, log, and maintain quality records.
  • Communicate with other quality personnel regarding non-conforming products, processing problems, and important daily activities.
  • Inform and recommend to engineering, production supervisors, group leaders, and operators regarding quality and processing issues.
  • Collect parts tubs and visually inspect molded rubber product to AQL sampling plan as per Quality Specifications.
  • Inspect first part inspection and 100% audit.
  • Initiate corrective action for non-conforming product.
  • Record, log, and maintain records for corrective actions.
  • Perform duties for finishing or sorting of rejected non-conforming product.
  • Monitor and release parts from the reject hold area.
  • Operate count scales and Micro-Vu measuring equipment.
  • Prepare boxes according to work instructions for packaging and specifications.
  • Verify and affix appropriate box labels.
