About The Position

A Quality Auditor ensures that products meet the highest quality standards. Responsible for investigating and resolving issues. Reviews SOW (Statements of Work), RFP (Request for Proposals), design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and manuals, to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.

Requirements

  • Requires 3-5 years experience in quality engineering or other engineering role.
  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience working in the microelectronics or defense industry
  • Certified trained auditor in ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100D, preferably AS9100D
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience auditing at the ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 level, preferably AS9100

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving issues.
  • Assist in the improvement of manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.
  • Ensures products meet the organizations and customers quality and product integrity requirements.
  • Supports product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
  • Participates in a cross function team in the determination of root cause of failures. Identifies when failure analysis is necessary, along with providing recommendations of the corrective measures.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
  • Develops and evaluates quality processes and system standards to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulatory requirements.
  • This position will support audit activities across Draper’s facilities.
  • Evaluates quality process and system standards to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Generate audit reports on internal and external audits, system, product and process conformity, pre-audits, and special audits.
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring quality system process discrepancies.
  • Interface as needed with programs, engineering, customer, and supply chain representatives to ensure quality system process requirements are met.
  • Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
  • Analyzing audit data and generating corporate metrics, identifies areas of risk and mitigating solutions, develops and delivers audit planning and results consistently and accurately to all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitates DCMA and 3rd Party Registrar audits, develops, distributes, monitors, and validates internal and external issued corrective action requests (CARs).
