About The Position
SPIROL is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Auditor to join its Quality team in Danielson, Connecticut. The role helps ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications through product testing, inspections, and process audits. SPIROL manufactures engineered metal components and fastening solutions for industries and applications including automobiles, hand and power tools, aerospace, and green energy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of quality-related experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and quality control practices.
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform product inspections, testing, and quality audits to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and quality requirements.
- Conduct laboratory testing, analyze results, and prepare quality reports and product certifications.
- Perform gage calibration and support measurement system studies.
- Identify quality concerns, document nonconformances, and support corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
