About The Position
DSI is hiring Quality Assurance professionals at Levels I, II, III, and Senior to help ensure inventory and processes meet quality and compliance standards. Team members support accuracy and operational excellence across inventory and shipment processes. Responsibilities vary by level, from performing inspections and maintaining documentation to mentoring team members and leading process improvements. Senior-level responsibilities include leading physical inventories with customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications as required for the level.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with RF and tablet technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- For Level II, no performance, safety, behavioral, or attendance warnings in the past 90 days.
- For Level III, a spotless performance, safety, behavior, and attendance record over the past 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in quality assurance or material handling operations.
Responsibilities
- Follow DSI Standard Operating Procedures for inspecting, staging, securing, loading, manifesting, and sealing export containers.
- Maintain complete and accurate shipment documentation, including photo documentation.
- Use RF devices and tablets for inventory and shipment management.
- Follow DSI safety protocols.
- Inspect, load, and unload trailers and railcars in a timely manner and document work accurately.
- Perform cycle counts and apply inventory control processes.
- Maintain workflow control and operational discipline in the assigned work area.
- Keep the workstation organized to professional standards.
- Collaborate with the team and take on various roles as needed.
- Complete train-the-trainer certification and mentor or train fellow team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Lead physical inventories with customers at the Senior level.
