Requirements

Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments.
Able to operate forklifts and non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board.

Nice To Haves

2 years of electronic technical training preferred.
2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, repair, troubleshoot, move, disassemble, reassemble, and prepare gaming, amusement, and ATM equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications.
Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment.
Move video gaming terminals (slot machines), Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areas.
Disassemble obsolete or damaged equipment, then test and clean removed parts.
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, machine parts, and associated equipment.
Install and remove locks on video gaming terminals, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, and Amusement Devices.
Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions to perform necessary repairs of electronic devices and equipment.
Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product.
Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management.
Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.
Additional duties may be required, such as oversight on parts, management of any camera related initiatives, and installation of gaming and amusement equipment.
Prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver a positive experience to both internal and external customers.
