The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring food safety and quality throughout the production process. This role involves monitoring in-process product, conducting environmental evaluations, and making real-time determinations regarding food safety and quality. The technician will also perform pre-operational inspections, manage lock-out/tag-out procedures, and communicate effectively with sanitation, maintenance, and production teams. A strong understanding of production flow, including codes, size limits, and label attributes, is essential. The technician must be able to identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations, such as product tampering or equipment malfunctions, to their supervisor.
