About The Position

Coke Florida is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician based at its Tampa location. The technician conducts qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the production process, ensuring products and packaging meet standards. The listed schedules are 2-2-3 shifts, either 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of prior production or manufacturing experience, or 2 or more years of relevant laboratory technician experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read, write, and keep records.
• Good computer skills, including familiarity with Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and handling hazardous materials.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
• Food or beverage industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods.
• Analyze syrup, beverage, and/or water attributes.
• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct package quality inspections and quality audits, and isolate products that do not meet standards.
• Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials before the production process.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.
