About The Position

Attindas Hygiene Partners is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician at its Delaware, Ohio manufacturing facility, starting at $19.75 per hour. Attindas designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products, including adult incontinence products and infant diapers, for healthcare, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels. The Quality Technician ensures product compliance through evaluation, testing, and verification before product release. The role supports production teams through training, coaching, and daily quality guidance, and owns at least one functional quality system to maintain the site’s Quality Management System (QMS). The technician also helps maintain GMP compliance, supports audits, and contributes to continuous improvement in product quality, efficiency, scrap reduction, and housekeeping.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to complete and maintain training required by the Skills Matrix, Job Classification Training Plan, and role-specific QA training programs.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to learn site-specific quality systems such as QW or ETQ Reliance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document, review, and verify quality data and records.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout production and laboratory environments for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and testing equipment up to required weight limits.
Manual dexterity to handle testing instruments, lab equipment, and documentation accurately.
Ability to visually inspect products and documentation, including close vision and color differentiation as required.
Successful completion of the selection process, which may include interviews, aptitude tests for some positions, reference verification, drug screening in the US, and required background checks including criminal checks.

Responsibilities

Perform product, package, and material testing to verify conformance to specifications.
Ensure the Quality Laboratory meets and maintains GMP standards.
Assemble, review, and approve Device History Records and other lab documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with good documentation practices.
Test product performance for business needs, customer complaints, product holds, and competitor benchmarking according to approved procedures.
Conduct calibration verifications using approved procedures and documentation.
Execute daily product release processes.
Review and reconcile finished goods daily before shipment.
Provide backup support to the Materials Quality Coordinator as required.
Give production crews real-time feedback on inspection techniques and quality standards.
Help production technicians understand and apply product specifications.
Train, coach, and support operators on inspection methods, Quality Windows, and GMP compliance.
Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving Quality Window issues.
Support production teams during Quality Holds, including identification, segregation, and removal of nonconforming product.
Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and work practices.
Act as a GMP expert, champion, inspector, and trainer within the operation.
Own and maintain at least one functional quality system to support site-level QMS compliance.
Provide process updates, training, and ongoing health checks for assigned quality systems.
Support internal and external audits related to assigned quality systems.
Support improvements in scrap reduction, product quality, operational efficiency, and housekeeping standards.
