Requirements

High School Diploma
Math aptitude
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a plant environment

Responsibilities

Records finished product weights, completes metal detector checks and case audit sheets, temperature checks, icing thickness measurements, and in-process data, ensuring customer specifications are followed.
Responsible for the pre-operational checklist.
Calibrates thermometers/scales and records results.
Performs random raw material specification checks.
Assists in the verification of inbound and outbound freight.
Records raw/undecorated cake temperature results.
Reports food safety/quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
Follows and enforces all company safety, GMP, behavioral rules, and other policies in the employee handbook, helping to grow the food safety culture.
Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Proactively supports the organization’s goals and objectives.
