About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for inspecting products, raw materials, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with company standards. The role includes checking work orders and production components, coordinating approvals with relevant individuals and the Lab, monitoring production and machine performance, and documenting finished-product approvals. The technician must follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or another related position.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8–12 hours per day.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, grasp, bend, kneel, and squat repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect finished products, raw materials, packaging, and labeling according to specifications.
Review daily work orders and verify that components meet specifications before the production line runs.
Coordinate inspections and approvals of shipper barcodes, product IDs, UPC numbers, batch numbers, and related items.
Coordinate with the Lab for sample approval.
Inspect work areas and machines to ensure cleaning and sanitation are completed before the next work order.
Provide the Line Lead with the appropriate weight and other specifications according to the work order.
Inspect the packaging process for proper fills, closures or heat seals, batch number printing, and product labeling.
Review and approve each pallet of finished product and document approvals on required logs and reports.
Observe and monitor machine operations and performance for conformance to specifications and company standards.
Adhere to all safety rules and requirements.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
