Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent degree
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments and functional gauges.
- Knowledge and understanding of GD&T.
- Experience in Microsoft programs is required.
Nice To Haves
- basic knowledge in QS and ISO standards is recommended
- CMM knowledge and one to three years of blueprint reading preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Industry Standards, (SAE ASME, ANSI, AMS, ASTM, FED-STD, MIL) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs inspections for the company products to determine conformance with specifications
- Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Ability to use CMM
- Ability to read/interpret customer prints, drawings, and specifications
- Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents
- Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques
- Set gages for operators
- Assist in preparation of quality sheets and CMM programs
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
