The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring and programming critical control points (CCP), product food safety, and quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other required areas. The technician will ensure the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation, and verify that correct recipe guidelines are met during processing. A key aspect of this role is working closely with production staff to maintain and educate on sanitation, hygiene, GMPs, and other food safety guidelines. The position also includes collecting product samples for product development, lab retains, and the laboratory, as well as performing inspections on products, equipment, and machinery. Other duties and projects as assigned by QA Management.
