Quality Assurance Technician
About The Position
The Quality Assurance Technician at Wolverine Packing upholds quality standards by performing high-level quality control inspections and verifying processes. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The technician works 100% on the plant floor and monitors all facility areas, including pens and the processing floor. The role includes monitoring and implementing HACCP system activities in the Quality Assurance Department. The listed schedule is second shift, 1:45 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Finish time varies based on production. The position is listed at 40–50 hours per week, with a pay range of $21.00–$22.50 per hour. The job also requires availability to work or lead pre-operational sanitation beginning at 4:30 a.m.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, and document corrective actions, root cause, and preventative actions.
- Ensure GMPs are being followed.
- Ensure package and label integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain product specification.
- Work 100% on the plant floor.
- Monitor and implement HACCP system activities in the Quality Assurance Department.
- Monitor all areas of the facility, including pens and the processing floor.
- Be available to work or lead pre-operational sanitation beginning at 4:30 a.m.
