This role involves performing various tests and analyses to ensure the quality of dairy products. The technician will conduct microbiological tests, test fat composition, and perform raw, intermediate, and finished milk and product analysis. Environmental tests and flavoring product analysis are also key responsibilities. The position requires inspecting the plant and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), providing accurate and timely information to department managers, and maintaining records and documentation of test results. Additionally, the technician will create and communicate laboratory reports for regulatory agencies and Publix associates, and assist teams in applying information for process improvement and resolution of quality issues in the facility. Other duties as assigned.
