This role involves performing tasks in the work area on a daily basis within the team, acting as an on-the-floor work participant to cover for unplanned absences and vacations. The Team Leader will be responsible for understanding and maintaining all department reports and procedures, coordinating break and lunch schedules, and overseeing the maintenance of equipment, PM's, and work orders. This position also involves assisting managers with associate scheduling, understanding production to execute department requirements, and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The Team Leader will promote and enforce quality and food safety standards, serve as a role model for associates, and plan and conduct job skill training, including writing Skill Breakdown Sheets (SBSs) and conducting Job Instruction Training (JIT). Additionally, the role focuses on leading and driving improvements in plant operations, analyzing and understanding KPIs and data, and performing the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Department Manager/Assistant Department Manager in their absence, such as production scheduling and planning, along with other assigned duties.
