The QA Technician for Co-Manufacturing helps ensure our quality programs are consistently executed across our network of external manufacturing partners. In this role, you'll partner closely with internal teams to support food safety and quality systems, product evaluations, documentation, Positive Release, audit readiness, and continuous improvement efforts that help ensure our co-manufacturing partners consistently meet Torani's standards. Building on your foundational quality knowledge, you'll expand your expertise while helping protect the quality and integrity of every product that carries the Torani name. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or another technical or scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately review documentation and maintain records.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Ability to occasionally travel to co-manufacturing partner locations, as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends, when business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Support Torani's co-manufacturing program by executing quality activities that help ensure products meet Torani's high standards.
  • Consistently execute Torani's food safety and quality programs with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and support Positive Release.
  • Conduct product sensory evaluations and review quality documentation.
  • Keep quality documentation organized, complete, and audit-ready.
  • Ensure quality activities align with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Torani's food safety standards.
  • Identify quality concerns, investigate routine issues, and recognize trends that deserve further attention.
  • Support complaint investigations, review documentation, and share observations from product evaluations or site visits.
  • Communicate observations clearly, escalate concerns promptly, and work closely with teammates to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
