About The Position

The Quality Assurance Supervisor leads a team of QA and QC professionals in an on-site, full-time role at a climate-controlled facility in Groveport, Ohio. The supervisor ensures products meet quality and compliance standards, including GMP and FDA requirements, and helps keep production operations running smoothly. The role involves addressing quality issues, conducting investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions, supporting audits, improving processes and documentation, and collaborating with Customer Service, Engineering, and Production. The supervisor also coaches and develops team members. The work environment has moderate to loud noise levels and includes navigating a busy production floor; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs is required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related science.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Hands-on expertise in laboratory environments.
Strong knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
Knowledge of microbiological testing methodologies.
Leadership, problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and navigate a busy production floor.

Nice To Haves

Laboratory experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
