About The Position

As a key member of the National Quality Assurance team, this role is responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of a robust quality assurance program. Primarily focuses on conducting audits, assisting in the closure of Corrective Action Reports (CAR), and supporting quality assurance program initiatives. Please note that we are hiring for two open positions and looking at the Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax talent pools to fill these 2 open positions.

Requirements

  • Certified auditor
  • Experience in conducting internal audits
  • Familiarity with audit methodologies and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to document audit findings and prepare reports
  • Experience in addressing non-conformances
  • Experience in supporting the closure of Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
  • Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Experience in monitoring and tracking CAR closure
  • Experience in documenting CAR-related activities, including root cause analysis
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Technical expertise in identifying root causes, developing corrective actions, and implementing preventive measures
  • Experience in reporting on quality management trends
  • Experience in participating in investigations related to quality control breaches
  • Experience in delivering training sessions
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support on quality management training needs
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the scope of quality programs

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audits as a certified auditor in accordance with established audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits to assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address identified non-conformances and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and schedules.
  • Support the closure of Corrective Action Reports (CARs) by working closely with stakeholders to address identified issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to resolve non-conformances.
  • Monitor and track progress on CAR closure, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Document all CAR-related activities, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the National Director, Compliance and Quality Assurance to resolve quality management issues.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying root causes, developing corrective actions, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Assist in reporting on quality management trends and process issues to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in investigations related to quality control breaches and ensure accurate and complete data collection for trend analysis.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of quality program requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to departments on training needs related to quality management.
  • Ensure managers and staff are kept informed of regulatory requirements within the scope of the quality programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit activities, corrective actions, and other quality program documentation.
  • Manage databases and information systems to support audit findings, CAR closure, and trend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Support external audit activities, including coordinating with external auditors, providing necessary documentation, and participating in on-site audits.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with certification requirements and industry standards.
  • Review and recommend updates to processes within the quality programs based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate audit findings, CAR closure progress, and updates on quality program initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials as required.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety principles and practices.
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety internal community to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Participates in annual Emergency Response Manual training.
