This role provides support and assistance with the analysis and evaluation of procedures, processes, records, risks, and related controls for sufficiency and effectiveness. Areas of focus include pipeline safety, occupational safety, environmental, and other areas relevant to key company processes, activities, and assets. This is not an IT or Manufacturing QA role. The position involves managing, scheduling, and assisting/conducting panel discussions/interviews with internal stakeholders, documenting and distributing tracking reports to Quality Assurance management, and collecting and tracking data for assessments. The specialist will assist in identifying potential or actual gaps and work with the Quality Assurance Team and internal stakeholders on the process for timely completion of assessments, drafting and monitoring continuous improvement plans (CIP) from inception to completion. Additionally, the role supports the Quality Assurance Team in preparing for regulatory agency inspections and compliance activities related to 49 CFR 190-199 and state-specific pipeline safety regulations.
