About The Position

National Carwash Solutions (NCS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for its NCS Chemistry facility in De Pere, Wisconsin. This facility develops and manufactures cleaning and care chemicals for the car wash industry. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for in-process and finished product testing to ensure product quality is maintained. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field
• Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
• Comply with company rules, policies, and decisions
• Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency
• Required to regularly use a Personal Computer (P.C.)
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain and use laboratory equipment to test materials and finished goods to ensure they fall within quality standards, including viscometers, pH meters, titrations, refractometers, and balances.
• Audit the work of production employees to ensure they are following mixing specifications.
• Inspect incoming raw materials when required to assure they meet company requirements.
• Aid manufacturing personnel regarding quality problems, which may involve working with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, or other involved departments.
• Inspect all finished products prior to shipment to ensure compliance with company specifications and procedures.
• Maintain records related to all aspects of quality operations.
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.
