About The Position
Sigma Defense is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Belcamp, MD. This is a contingent position pending the award of a contract. The candidate selected will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to Sigma Defense Systems. Requirements
- 5+ years progressive experience in quality assurance/control within the DoW environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in DOW/Army Vehicle Integration work is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments.
- Coordinate testing with Test Engineers.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory requirements.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
