Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS in accordance with applicable standards (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.). Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification audits). Develop, maintain, review, analyze, and report quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement. Assist with the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification. Support document control activities, including review, revision, and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and records. Perform vendor management and participate in non-conformance investigations related to product, process, or supplier issues. Support supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations and surveys, supplier visits, and corrective actions, as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain) to promote quality awareness and compliance. Assist in training employees in quality processes, procedures, and best practices. Ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with retention requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies.
