About The Position

The position is responsible for performing accurate and timely audits of various deposit account transactions including, but not limited to: Business and Consumer Deposit Account and Share Openings, Business and Consumer Deposit Account Modifications, Address Verifications, Statement Validations, Spool Log review, Signature Guarantee Review, and Reviewing and supporting staff with exception review and resolution. Responsible for ensuring appropriate documentation and archival standards are maintained for all audits performed. Familiarity with tools, concepts, and methodologies of quality assurance (QA). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Ability to articulate State and Federal regulatory findings within ACES to front line staff (CIP, OFAC, Reg GG, BSA, etc.). Works closely with other departments to remediate findings. Assists in completing research and drafting audit responses for quality control/compliance audit findings. Assists with targeted audits outside of normal day-to-day work as needed. Adheres to quality standards for consistent, high-quality service. Ability to develop, drive and communicate with peers on tasks and goals. Provides support for other functions within the department. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three (3) years of experience in a financial institution including two (2) years’ experience in quality assurance, branch/deposit operations or member/account services required, or any combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of computers and standard Windows software applications
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
  • Ability to perform 10-key accurately
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and use proper grammar in English
  • Ability to communicate in person, on the telephone, and through written business correspondence
  • Ability to interpret and analyze written reports, instructions, correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively to vendors and system owners regarding projects and organizational initiatives
  • Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Ability to make decisions based on training, common sense understanding, and guidelines
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when dealing with problems involving variables in standardized situations
