About The Position

This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the quality management system. The Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) is responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the “Material Review Bay” and serves as a resource to Plant personnel as a trainer on quality system documents and record-keeping duties to show compliance to system requirements.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal skills are required.
  • Must be detail-oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System.
  • Rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exposure to a fast-paced warehouse environment, and be comfortable with short task completion expectations.
  • Ability to work with a diversified work force.
  • Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality system training is preferred, but not required.
  • Desire for additional formal training should exist.
  • Formal quality training is preferred, but not required.
  • Additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor.
  • ASQ certification
  • 3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
  • Experience or training in ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Document and data control oversight in Plant.
  • Ownership and maintenance of measurement devices.
  • Corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups.
  • Oversight of quality records held in Plant.
  • Process auditing for compliance to procedures.
  • Implementing statistical control of equipment and processes.
  • Accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
  • Acting as a trainer on quality department documents.
  • Ensuring proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
  • Meeting TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.
