About The Position

The Quality Assurance / QC Inspector performs hands-on incoming and final inspections at the Belgium Service Repair Center. This is an execution-focused position responsible for inspecting products and serviced devices, verifying documentation, recording inspection results, maintaining quality records, supporting calibration and ESD controls, and helping keep the facility audit-ready. This is not a quality-management, laboratory-only, research-only, or quality-policy position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of recent, hands-on QA, QC, or inspection experience.
  • Incoming inspection and/or final inspection experience.
  • Experience in an ISO-controlled or regulated repair, manufacturing, medical-device, electronics, aerospace, or industrial environment.
  • Experience documenting inspection results in an ERP, QMS, work-order, or inspection-tracking system.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and controlled recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with ESD requirements, calibration tracking, and audit-controlled processes.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, inspection tools, testing equipment, or measuring equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
  • Strong working English.
  • Functional Dutch for daily onsite communication and safety requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electronics, medical-device repair, technical service, or a Service Repair Center.
  • Experience with serial-number traceability and controlled-material workflows.
  • Experience handling nonconforming, defective, warranty, or quarantine materials.
  • Experience maintaining calibration records and ESD compliance documentation.
  • Experience supporting ISO audits or customer-quality reviews.
  • Experience working with repair orders, return authorizations, RMAs, or service documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming products, components, and materials against packing lists, bills of material, and inspection requirements.
  • Perform final inspections of serviced devices and documentation before release to shipping.
  • Verify serial numbers, labels, quantities, traceability information, and documentation completeness.
  • Enter inspection results and complete work orders in Quest, customer, ERP, QMS, or approved tracking systems.
  • Follow ISO procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Identify, document, quarantine, and escalate defective or nonconforming materials.
  • Maintain equipment calibration logs, certificates, and calibration-status labels.
  • Coordinate equipment calibration activities with Operations and the U.S. Quality team.
  • Monitor ESD compliance records and support required ESD testing.
  • Assist with cycle counts, bin audits, warranty investigations, and inventory-quality checks.
  • Prepare inspection reports and support internal, customer, and ISO audit readiness.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready work area.
