About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Cleveland, OH. This role is for a dynamic and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to champion a culture of quality excellence at a manufacturing facility. In this leadership role, the individual will be the driving force behind the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that every process, product, and person reflects an unwavering commitment to quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about building quality into the DNA of an organization, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record of turning data into action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of quality management experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Minimum three (3) years of people management or supervisory experience
  • Certified Lead Auditor (IATF; VDA preferred)
  • Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automotive core tools (FMEA, SPC, CP, APQP)

Responsibilities

  • Champion quality as a mindset, embedding QMS principles into the everyday culture of the plant
  • Maintain, evolve, and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System and certifications
  • Act as the site-level gatekeeper for quality Management of Change (MOC) and New Product Launches
  • Integrate Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) and Supplier Quality Manual requirements into the QMS
  • Facilitate and lead customer and supplier visits, representing the site with confidence
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints, off-spec situations, and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs)
  • Lead the measurement and reporting of site quality performance, delivering meaningful insights to stakeholders
  • Promote data-driven quality improvement programs to reduce cost of non-conformance and improve yield
  • Collaborate with Technical, Optima, and R&D teams to enhance first-time-right capability
  • Support and troubleshoot critical quality data systems including SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance
  • Oversee the site internal audit program and maintain the document control system
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a quality team, encouraging a culture of accountability and continuous learning
  • Deliver quality training and coaching across the site
