About The Position
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, focusing on quality assurance. The intern will assist with routine lab procedures, support research projects, maintain records, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. The role also involves participation in team meetings and administrative tasks related to lab operations, including documentation and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and registries.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a technical school, undergraduate, or graduate degree program.
- Degree focus in Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Dairy Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine lab procedures, including sample preparation, data collection, and equipment maintenance.
- Support ongoing research projects under the supervision of lab staff.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
- Follow all safety protocols and lab procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on findings and improvements.
- Perform administrative tasks related to lab operations as needed.
- Documentation and record review- Creating and updating SOP and registry.
