About The Position

QA Inspector is responsible for inspecting customer garments as per the Garment Grading Schedule and determining their status. The QA Inspector will determine customer’s specific requirements by review the customer’s profile on GTS and inspecting garments accordingly. QA Inspector will communicate irregularities to the QAS/QAM. QA Inspector will also perform standard QA testing, as needed, to backup the QA Technicians.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to wear cleanroom gowning of hood, coverall, boots, goggles, face mask, and gloves.
• Computer knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
• Detail orientated and ability to learn
• Maintain productivity; Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must be able to work 8 to 10 hours daily and Saturdays (as needed).

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in Quality function beneficial

Responsibilities

• Inspect garments for nonconformities to the garment grading schedule and customer specific requirements.
• Scan all inspected garments to appropriate QA disposition.
• Forward inspected garments to appropriate bin / department
• Perform QA testing as needed.
• Communicate issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager
