As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you’ll help make sure the precision parts, tools, and components we manufacture meet customer specifications and JV Manufacturing’s quality standards. Your day may include: Inspecting manufactured parts, tools, and components using blueprints, engineered drawings, sketches, and specifications. Verifying dimensions, alignments, clearances, and other print requirements. Using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, drop micrometers, gauge blocks/pins, indicators, comparators, and other inspection tools. Determining the best inspection method and proper measuring equipment for each part. Using or learning equipment such as CMMs, vision systems, and contour tracers. Identifying and documenting parts that do not meet specifications through Nonconformance Reports (NCRs). Working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and other Quality team members to resolve questions or quality concerns. Completing inspection documentation accurately and efficiently. Helping keep production moving without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Participating in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement efforts.
