About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector I is responsible for following detailed work instructions to perform basic inspections on fabricated aerospace products for conformance to customer engineering specifications while adhering to NADCAP and AS9100 system requirements.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language
Basic computer fluency
Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and safety
Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and strong sense of self-motivation, accountability, and responsibility
Ability to work independently and in a team with no/minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Good investigative and problem-solving skills; ability to think logically and methodically
Ability and willingness to acclimate to the company culture and development goals

Nice To Haves

Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance preferred
Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 standards preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering drawings preferred

Responsibilities

Read and interpret requirements from customer specifications
Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., scales, calipers, micrometers) properly
Inspect composite parts to ensure conformity
Document part nonconformance and generate nonconformance reports
Enter data into ERP system
Correspond with other departments in a professional manner
Other duties as assigned
