About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector will implement and support various GMP regulations with a primary focus on process inspections of manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes. This role involves completing incoming quality checks, communicating issues, reviewing batch records, and releasing product. The inspector must accurately document weights and measurements to ensure they meet P & C guidelines.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform, record inspections and observations accurately, prepare, present records and reports and observe safety precautions and regulations such as GMP's
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to evaluate quality control and quality assurance statistics
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse/manufacture setting
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs
  • Must be able to handle strong odors

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support various GMP regulations with primary focus on process inspections of manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes
  • Complete Incoming Quality Checks and record results
  • Communicate issues/failures with the line supervisors and QA Manager
  • Review and approve batch records, line clearance, and 1st quality checks/ samples
  • Accurately document weights and measurements to ensure they meet P & C guidelines
  • Release product and finished goods
  • Other duties as deemed necessary
