About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a machine-shop or precision-manufacturing setting
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment (CMM, laser trackers, surface plates, optical comparators)
• Strong command of statistical process control (SPC)
• Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5, with demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO-9001) and audit procedures
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet demanding production schedules

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced machining processes such as CNC milling, turning, and EDM

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and audit quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for machined components
• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, engineering drawings, and process documentation
• Lead failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation to ensure regulatory compliance and reliability
• Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and drive compliance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on elevating internal and supplier performance and productivity
