Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years in quality engineering with a focus on standards, audits, and process improvement
• Expertise in D/PFMEA, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
• Strong background in electronic/mechanical inspection methods and control plans
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards
• Experience with government contracting, especially Department of Defense projects
• Skilled in project management, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing special processes and daily supplier interfaces
• Familiarity with Material Review Board activities
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork in hybrid (remote and onsite) environments

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain software quality standards, procedures, and control plans
• Conduct comprehensive software inspections, testing, verification, and validation activities
• Ensure all project and process documentation meets compliance, contract, and regulatory standards
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving tools
• Oversee failure mode and effects analyses (D/PFMEA) and first article inspections (AS9102)
• Perform supplier quality assurance and manage control of non-conforming materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, program management, and suppliers
• Support and audit compliance with AS9100 Quality Management Systems
