About The Position

Join the Sensors Integration and Test Center as a Quality Assurance Engineer, helping shape product excellence from design through delivery. The role drives quality initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and helps ensure products meet industry and customer expectations in a high-tech, innovation-driven environment in Orlando, Florida.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline.
At least 3 years of experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications to develop quality standards, methods, and inspection or test procedures.
At least 3 years of expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal, team-building, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and controls.
Knowledge of First Article Inspection (AS9102).
Familiarity with automated and robotic technologies.
Experience with industry-recognized quality systems, including ISO and AS regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and detailed designs.
Lead complex product failure investigations and material review board decisions.
Develop and implement quality improvement strategies for internal teams and suppliers.
Design, document, and analyze inspection and testing processes using statistical methods.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
