About The Position

Emerson offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader seeking growth as a Quality Assurance Documentation Supervisor. This role is integral to a dynamic and high-tech production facility, providing a first-class service to customers. The position involves maintaining a safe working environment, coordinating work to maximize productivity, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing after-shipment customer requests, and developing metrics to assess manufacturing conformance and supplier documentation accuracy. The ideal candidate will drive improvement of these metrics and provide regular feedback to management.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and solid computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to motivate a team, utilizing strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of related experience in manufacturing or quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including being disciplined, assertive, and energetic, to meet safety and production performance goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment; demonstrate positive safety behaviors and attitudes.
  • Assign and coordinate work to maximize productivity and attain production schedule. Oversee day-to-day operations, including authority for personnel actions.
  • Maintain and enhance employee qualifications, identify training needs, and address qualifications gaps.
  • Manage and coordinate investigation of after-shipment requests from customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Develop metrics to assess manufacturing conformance, including supplier documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. Drive improvement of the metrics. Prepare necessary reports and provide regular feedback to management.
