Quality Assurance Data Analyst
About The Position
Corning is a global innovator in materials science, known for its breakthroughs in glass, ceramics, and related technologies. The company's technologies impact various sectors, including life sciences, mobile consumer electronics, optical communications, display, automotive, and solar markets. Corning is seeking a Quality Assurance Data Analyst to collect, clean, and analyze data to support business decision-making. This role involves developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations, monitoring KPIs, identifying trends, and performing statistical analysis. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain databases, present findings, and ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field
- 1-2 years Proven experience as a QA Analyst, Software Tester, or in a similar quality assurance role
- Experience with test case design, defect tracking, and reporting
- Familiarity with tools such as PowerBI, Share Point, and Microsoft office
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business performance
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
- Create and maintain databases, data systems, and documentation
- Perform statistical analysis to solve business problems
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Completes other administrative duties as assigned
