About The Position

Performs quality assurance audits on departmental files and processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of office work, bank, or similar experience.
  • Solid PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications, database analysis, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with all levels of both internal and external audiences, including the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience creating or implementing quality monitoring procedures.
  • Experience performing root cause analyses and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance audits and reviews assigned; audits and reviews may apply to verbal and/or written communications and documentation.
  • Review and prepare quality assurance reports as assigned according to specified frequencies.
  • Complete audits according to departmental timelines.
  • Assist in planning, testing, and reporting phases of departmental quality initiatives.
  • Perform comprehensive quality assurance audits for adherence to organizational standards, investor/insurer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Analyze findings for trends, prepare and present reports and make recommendations for appropriate corrective actions; collaborate with applicable departments to analyze necessary process or procedure changes.
  • Recommend training and procedural changes to the operational departments based on audit findings.
  • Perform research on regulatory agencies and procedural requirements.
  • Maintain and update working papers as needed regarding regulatory and procedural changes.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate and share audit knowledge with team members as needed.
  • Actively participate in identifying process improvement opportunities within the department.
  • Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
  • Perform other related additional duties as assigned.
