About The Position

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for an on-site opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will serve as a Quality Assurance and Test Automation Specialist supporting complex enterprise healthcare applications, with a focus on enrollment, eligibility, claims-related systems, document management, and workflows. The role will help ensure system quality through comprehensive test planning, automation, defect management, and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent Quality Assurance experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • 5+ years of experience translating business requirements, functional specifications, or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Sahi Pro and/or Selenium automation frameworks.
  • Experience designing and developing automated test scripts according to established testing standards and guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of at least one recognized quality/process framework, including SPICE, TPI, TMMi, CMMI OPF, OPD, or PPQA.
  • Hands-on experience with formal test design techniques such as Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis.
  • Experience with PICT or a comparable orthogonal-based test design tool.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including system integration, regression, end-to-end, smoke, negative, and usability testing.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience supporting large enterprise or e-business applications.
  • 3+ years of Medicaid, healthcare, health insurance, or related industry experience.
  • Knowledge of X12 standards and HIPAA EDI transactions.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian toolset.
  • Experience working in both Agile and traditional SDLC/waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, and QA/UAT documentation based on business and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts and execute functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, smoke, negative, and usability testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve application defects while maintaining accurate testing and quality records.
  • Review vendor test plans, test scripts, test results, and reports while providing guidance on testing standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to investigate issues, assess solutions, and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor testing progress, communicate risks and outcomes, participate in reviews and walkthroughs, and help ensure projects meet established quality and governance standards.
