About The Position

The Quality and Risk Management Clinical Specialist will act as the lead clinical staff member in the Quality, Risk and Compliance department. This role carries out a variety of quality and patient safety functions to support the hospital's quality and safety plan and programs. The specialist will use clinical nursing knowledge and abilities in data review to help ensure the continuous evolution of quality and safe care.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or certificate from an accredited school of nursing
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Effective people skills, teamwork, and communication
  • Current in Vermont nursing standards, as applicable

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Demonstrated skills in participating in and/or leading quality initiatives in a hospital setting
  • Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
