This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) in accordance with CMS, CDC, and state regulatory requirements. The position involves ongoing surveillance for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), infection outbreaks, and communicable diseases. The Clinical Quality & Risk Manager will collect, analyze, and report infection prevention and quality data, conduct infection control audits, and monitor trends related to antimicrobial resistance and antibiotic utilization. Additionally, this role oversees the Employee Health Program, monitors trends in patient safety events, and coordinates clinical education and training for hospital staff.
