About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Commissioning Quality / Validation Manager to join our team and work alongside a key technology client. This role is responsible for developing CQV procedures and managing the efforts of a third-party group. The position will also collaborate closely with the QA/QC Director. The ideal candidate is resilient, a self-starter, and capable of taking initiative and driving activities with minimal supervision. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience leading and directing CQV professionals, with a strong scientific or engineering background in CRDR IQ, OQ, PQ.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Commissioning / Qualification / Validation.
  • College degree required.
  • Experienced managing multiple stakeholders and work stream managers.
  • Ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.
  • Minimum of 10 years leading and directing CQV professionals.
  • Strong background scientific or engineering background with CRDR IQ, OQ, PQ.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Full time M-F on project site working in a fast-paced environment for a confidential client in the tech industry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience managing projects as an Owner’s Rep., General Contractor, or Commissioning Agent.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
  • Manage the commissioning process, attend domestic first of kind inspections and quality walks.
  • Attend factory and site acceptance tests, where appropriate.
  • Ensure proper commissioning procedures and standards are developed and are being followed.
  • Chair Commissioning meetings with stakeholders.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission (project) is input into internal databases and shared.
  • Process improvement – Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
  • Identifying ways in which project management products and services can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
  • Identifying and ensuring that the client and management are aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be used throughout projects.
